MotulTech operates phone remote support thru its network of technical experts (see Contacts) but also a close assistance to the users.
Being prime for the success of our products performance, MotulTech offers to its customers a multi-level service to monitor industrial fluids:
- On site control
- Lab monitoring
- Remote sensor monitoring (pH, Temp. Concentration)
- Storage level monitoring
On the field, our technicians are able to control and give advices to the users to detect possible trouble and maintain fluids in the best conditions.
They use reliable portable devices to check the product working conditions and, if needed, can request our lab for further deeper investigations.
Metalworking coolant monitoring
Ideally, monitoring needs to be done at least once every 2 ~ 3 days; the best would be to do it every day, and should always be done after every top-up of concentrate to ensure that the right corrective action has been taken to maintain the emulsion’s health to its optimum level.
Issues with manual monitoring process
- We may take the corrective actions on time to keep the emulsions health good, but record keeping of the parameters is always a difficult task.
- In todays scenario, most of the machines will have a paper based display chart which will show the records of the parameters, but keeping each machines paper in record is a tedious task and often we tend to loose/damage the paper based charts.
- As we have high number of machines running in a shopfloor with water soluble coolants, there are many tracking sheets with records to store, which is difficult to track.
- Trend line of parameters of the emulsions health cannot be tracked and timely corrective actions cannot be taken.
- Daily top data to maintain the emulsion cannot be analyzed.
- No ease of checking the data from a central location, we have to go to the machine, take the chart and then see the data for our analysis.
- All these factors make our task very time consuming.
